VOTE DAVID WRIGHT!!
I am not going to do a little blog about tonight’s awesome matchup as everyone knows, Webb and Pedro will be dazzling and i hope to see every second of it. But something else caught my eye ,As i was looking at the Nl all star balloting update yesterday, its early and David’s only down 47,395 votes and we can push him to be the Nl starting 3b.He is having a great year and helps off the field like many stars dont. Just look at all of the amazing work he does with WWW.DAVIDWRIGHTFOUNDATION.COM. He is desperatly trying to help find a cure for MS and i belive i dont see Arod or most other high paid players in baseball do. Also one of the main reasons to vote for him is because of his on the field skill, he is a fan favirote in NY and i believe everyone should vote for him based on that.
Now please vote for David Wright to the 2006 Nl All star Team. I believe along with many other’s that he is the best 3b in the league right alongside Miguel Cabrera. But i believe Wright helps his team out more in the clutch and should be considered one of the best players in MLB. So now please vote David Wright to the all star team, and he will guareentee the MVP trophy after i predict he will hit 3 grand slams in the game. Hey ya gotta believe!. Also lets get president Bush out of the white house and put David Wright in there. He will cut tax break’s (Not to steinbrenner and Yankee fans),But cmon people!!!
Wright For President!!And also the Nl all star team!
Mets Loss Tonight…But Milledge Sort Of Saves the night.
Going into tonight’s game Vs the Dbacks, i decided to go there early and try to get some baseball’s from the batting practice regeime. I was angry to find that it was very early and had a ton of time to kill so i yelled at jose Valentin and threw me a baseball. Then me and my Friend walked around to the loge where i sit and got a ball thrown by Jorge Julio, i told him i missed him and he smiled. Too bad he knew i hated him deep down inside and didnt care less about him. I decided to spend a ton of time at my Favirote clubhouse shop and bought my father a Paul Loduca tshirt, its his favirote player since Piazza, And i headed down to the main concourse and purchased…1- Hot dog, 2- Sausage, 3- 2 Soda’s, 4- Carvel ice cream. Bascially being 5 foot 8 and 155 pounds, igained about 4 pounds tonight and lost 4 pounds in my bank account after it felt like i got hit with a hammer in between my legs as i kept reaching and reaching for 20 after 20 including 13 dollars for parking per day, Man i got to get pre paid parking passes every day.
But as i went to the game tonight, i was very excited to find out about Uber-Prospect Lastings Milledge. He is supposed to be one of the best prospects to come out of the mets minor league system since Scott….I wont say his name because evey time i say it, i go into a rage and start throwing my dog around. But judging by the crowd’s reaction of Milledge tonight, they are clearly sending signals not to trade this cant-miss prospect who every team inquires about at the deadline. It seems as if the mets will keep him around to play LF next year after Floyd’s contact expires. Speaking of Floyd, He is really hitting the ball well as of late, I predict by the end of the year he will bat 275 and hit 25 homers and drive in 85-90 rbi;s. He will probably sign with the Yankees to DH if the Yanks dont sign Barry Bonds to Dh and then i will hate Cliff Floyd for going to the enemy.
Onto my Favirote player David Wright, He struggled tonight at the plate but of course no one’s perfect unless your name is David Wright and you play against the marlins and go 4 for 4 with a walk on May 27,2006. His average dipped to a robust 325,But i am starting to get worried as Miguel Cabrera despite the low fan attendence is still having a monster year and i hope all of the Wrightoholics and Mets fan will get to the booths and Vote Wright to the Nl All star team. I took a few pictures and i have this awesome picture of a blurry David Wright rounding first base after his game winning hit yesterday. I photo shopped the backround and i hope everyone likes it.
Also for the Wrightoholics Fan club, my good friend and Avid Wright fan Desiree (thewrightfans@yahoo.com) will be in charge of wrighting the weekly newsletter and if anyone would like to be added to the wrightoholics newsletter in which we will try to set up dates at shea over the summer and pack out the front row of the loge and all be wearing our Wrightoholics t shirts and will get a shout out from David. Also i will try to donate enough money from all of us to try and possibly get a meet and greet with David before a game. If we raise enough money, i will send the check to my friend Erica Barrone and see if she can possibly set a little something up. So email me or Desiree at TheWrightFans@yahoo.com and also give her a little props as she is doing alot for the Wrightoholics and we all appreciate her work with the newsletter.
But Tonight’s game was very discouraging, Alay Soler struggled mightily and Willie left him a little bit too long and it bothered me and the other fans who stayed the whole game. A funny thing i would like to point out was that theyre was two diamondback fans down near my seats and i yelled ill throw you and your daughter over the railing and they stopped yelling for the dbacks, Jeez who lives in Arizona anyways, go raise some cactus and stay out of NY.
Listen this is a alert to everyone, look at this article i pulled off Mets.com.Lo Duca is the only Met leading his category, but is one of five Mets players in the top five at their position. Carlos Beltran (OF), David Wright (3B), and Carlos Delgado (1B) are second while Jose Reyes (SS) is third. Delgado ranks behind Albert Pujols of the Cardinals, who leads the National League with 726,854 votes. Beltran has 334,027 votes compared to Andruw Jones (Braves) who has 420,462 and Wright trails Scott Rolen (Cardinals) with 292,335 votes to Rolen’s 340,733. lISTEN EVERYONE, VOTE FOR WRIGHT. Rolen is decent now and Wright is the new best 3b in The Nl, just look at the numbers. Its getting to be based on what the players have done in their history compared to what they are doing now.

Look at the difference, Please people vote Wright or else well have to watch Rolen play third based on expierience compared to now. But onto Milledge, He saved sort of the game tonight for us fans who stayed as we were craving his first hit and he got it. Also if anyone wants video footage from my seats of his first hit, just email me and ill be happy to send you that or David;s entrance song with him coming out to bat with the crowd behind him.
Now onto to the David watch, And remember Vote Wright to the Nl ALL STAR TEAM AND ALSO WRIGHT FOR PRESIDENT!!

Mr Clutch= Arod? NOOOO….Daviid Wrighhhht!!!
Ahhh Another walkkkk off hit by Mr.Clutch David Wright…It is starting to get really enjoyable being at Shea nowadays. With all of the Wrightoholics in attendance, It was setting up nicely after Delgado struck out and the bases were loaded. I was praying on a walk off grand slam but i took the warning track single to win the game. He is truly shaping up to be the best player in NY. Everyone should go to MLB.COM AND fill out 25 ballots each and vote David in and also to kellia from http://byrnesblog.mlblogs.com/, who is very nice and does a good job blogging about Her man Eric Brynes and his chase to be on the Nl All star team, so people give a transplanted Mets Fan and Eric Byrnes # 1 fan some credit and Vote Eric as well as tonight he gave me a heartattack with those 2 bombs he hit and then followed by his tirade towards home plate umpire.
As i was sitting in attendence tonight, The game was a great battle and i bought 2 itilian sausages which cost me my pre-paid parking pass basically (13 dollars) and i also bought my 32ncd cut of souvernir soda of the night. I was screaming all night at Steve Trachsel whose last game pitched took up into the 16th inning and with him pitching tonight, i felt like the game was going to take 5 and half hours again just by him pitching so slowly and the rain and all of that good stuff. By as I was checking over random blogs all night on my blackberry and it came to my attention that my good friend Desiree wrote me an email and told me about her troubles at Dolphin stadium out in Florida. She sent me some cool pictures and mainly one of David practicing on the field before the game started. Also she is now going to be in charge of the Wrightoholics fan club emails and what not, so remember if anyone still wants to get on the list before it closes, just email me or her at thewrightfans@yahoo.com . She is a huge david Wright fan and generally chimes in at my blog every so often. She is very knowledgeable about the game and knowledgeable about David and his band of merry-mets. She was at the game on Saturday and reported that The mets slapped the Marlins around nicely. Including seeing David’s 4 for 4 day while Wrightoholics were in attendence.
Also, we are in the process of bringing a group down the third base line in the first row of the loge in the boxes as i called my ticket agent today and he told me i can bring a group of 25 or even 50. So for everyone on the email list, i i will email out more details in the upcoming weeks. Also, the way the group will work is to try and give as much as possible, even if it is a dollar or two to donate to the David Wright Foundation as even with a little, it can go a long way.
As the walk off Hit almost went out of the park with shades of Robin Ventura’s grand slam single, It reminded me that with me and other wrightoholics in attendence again tomorrow, we are still searching for David’s 50th career home run. Hopefully i can catch it somehow with a 100 foot fishing net. But onto the other things, i will be leaving early tomorrow as i will be tailgating outside shea (weather permitting) Or ill just watch my Mets 1986 world series collection on my Laptop outside in my car if the rain is coming down hard. But as for the game tonight , it was wonderful as the mets were down,up,down,up,up, down and then up. It was a see-saw battle that one team had to lose and thankfully it was the dbacks. The way the Mets fight back now a days is very remiscent of the way the 2000 mets faught back day in and day out. And you can just never count this team out in any way.Even tonight when heilman gave up the 3 run homer to Chad Tracy, i thought they had a shot due to the bullpen of the Dbacks. And yet again the mets managed to come back and start a rally and everyone dont forget Paul LoDuca, He went 4 for 5 and drove Reyes to third and followed by a intentional walk and a k to Delgado, and then the slam by Wright to center. The energy in Shea tonight and the previous bunch of games there is just something so new, since 2000. It really feels great to be a Mets fan again. The past years since 2000, has not been fun for us fans and we had to bask in the glory of playoff’s after non producing playoffs by the yankees. I just hope we can strike gold this year , thatll be something. I will be at every game in the playoffs live blogging and blogging about David Wright and his clutchness.
I am not annointing David as the most clutch player in NY.
That’s it, no questions or answers, just a fact. He is. As for tomorrow’s game. The mets will send Soler Vs Miguel Batista. Soler impressed me besides the first inning and will look to build up on that perfomance against Miguel Batista in which the mets will look to smack some more runs off of him.
It looks like Floyd is starting to come around as of late, He homered tonight and sent a scorching double down the RF line. Hopefully he can continue that solid play into the next series vs the Giants and keep it going even Wednesday aginst Brandon Webb. As the Mets roll on into first the upcoming weeks, my mind has been glued on the rear view mirror as the Braves are steadily approcahing and so are the Fightin Phils. The Phils won tonight and the Bravos lost today so the Mets regained a steady 4 and half game lead over the Bravos and 5 Over the Phils. The mets will look to strecth that lead this week with a favorable schedule (Minus the Start against Webb) I still dont believe the Dbacks are for real with their pitching, and a matchup against the Barry’s. Hopefulyl the lead will balloon to 7 games by next week.
Now onto the David Watch….And AS ALWAYS,VOTE FOR WRIGHT TO THE NL ALL STAR TEAM AND VOTE WRIGHT FOR PRESIDENT!!
Tonight Vs Batista- 2-4 following up a awesome walk off shot yesterday!
yesterday – 1 for 4 with a walk off shot!!!

David Wright= 1 homer shy of 50 for his career. And Mets Vs Dbacks talk!
The mets open memorial day or as i should say night for a 3 game series against the Dbacks. The mets will look to add to their 3 and half game lead over the Bravos. Man those braves do not go away, they were 9 games out at one point and now the lead is cut to 3 and a half, Dont worry mets fans give the braves a few weeks and theyll turn back to being 8 games out of first. The pitching matchup for tonight’s game is Steve Trachsel Vs Claudio Vargas. Vargas is pitchign well of late and took a no hitter into the 6th inning his last start but tonight i am looking towards a mets victory but the key is going to be how Steve Trachsel perfoms. He has been getting blasted his last few starts and need’s to step up the tempo and fight off the boo-birds at Shea. As for being at the game tonight, i am thinking about leaving my house at 3 and tailgating but the traffic is going to be insane and hopefully i really dont sit in too much of it as it sickens me driving to Shea.
As it was brought up to my attention on Mets.Com, David Wright is 1 homer shy of 50 for his career. Hmm…Only 705 left to go to catch Hammering Hank. I dont think David is going to contend with the Home Run record but i think he will go for the record for third basemen. I believe he will catch that record before he is done and also win a ton of Mvp’s and notch a ton of all star game apperances (Cmon Marlins trade cabrera to the al and leave no doubt in my mind this year). David Just have pure skill at third base, something not taught to you growing up. He knows how to play the game right and with all of this steroid talk everyone should talk to their kids and point out a real role model and that is David Wright and how he affects the game and helps out in many ways signing autographs and staying out to talk to fans. Its a shame how every 10 seconds on sportscenter i must see Barry Bonds talk about his home runs but will not answer any questions about his rampant steroid use and all of that good stuff. I feel as Barry cheated and so do a ton of other fans except for those fans in SF and the Bay area. As for Barry breaking Aarons record, he will do it eventually as he is not going to retire until he does because he is that selfish(and im watching espnews now and its the first highlight on the show), Ya know if i would have caught the ball, i would have thrown it back.! No im kidding, i would have sold each piece of it and donated half the money to Davids Organization and kept the other half and bought a Hummer, Man it must stink for the guy in the bleachers who missed catching the ball and how awesome is it for the guy who was waiting on line to buy a bbq sandwich gets it LOL. Man sweet investment, just think the bbq sandwiches are 19 dollars at shea so you figure its a good trade off if i would have caught it. Speaking of sandwiches, im trying to decide what sandwich i should bring tonight. Maybe ill buy 7 itlian sausages at the game and spend 200 dollars god theyre so good some nights.
But Onto the better stuff of baseball and that is the first place NY Mets, No its not a typo not the NY Yankees but the Ny Mets, New York’s other baseball team. Yes i understand the way the mets fan’s react to being implanted into first place since game 3 of the season, who knows maybe well never leave first place and hopefully with some love from the al, maybe the Yanks wont even make the playoffs and the mets go on to win the championship. If that happened, steinbrenner would call the suicide hotline or demand a trade for Babe Ruth, because that mess in Yankee-land will soon get out of control. (Im not talking about on the field team, but all of the money they spent on **** free agents, i can name them but my gigo-byte space for this post wont allow me to name them all). It does feel good to be in first, its a different atmosphere in Shea and its unanomously different than the atmosphere last year at Shea. Last year, the team was no where and started to come back and then died down again, although the mets finished with a winning record they were so close to the phils and that elusive wild card but Pedro blew it and the mets took a nose dive. Hopefully this year with this pleasent mix of veterans and newly aqquainted major leaguers, we will go further this year and beyond as i am looking forward to some playoff baseball on the other side of NY this year.
As im staring at my Pedro Bobblehead right now, he is nodding yes to everything i have been asking him. Playoffs, Check. Mvp For David Wright? Check. All star Apperence for David? Check. Last place finish for the Yankees? Check! Ah that last one was a joke but hopefully one year that can come true. Now everyone dont think im coo coo for talking to Pedro in the bobblehead version, he is like an 8 ball but he doesnt answer with Maybe or Possibly. He just answers Yes! LOL. Kind of like a girlfriend i would love to have. Can you buy me that Mercedes? Yes! Wow what a life that would be. Speaking of girlfriends, she just picked me up a Another Authentic David Wright jersey. That completes my collection of his Jerseys, Sort of like one per game, although i like to throw it back a bit to the good ole days (My fav jersey of all time is my 94 Todd Hundley authentic jersey). Ah what i would give to see Todd Hundley break the hr for catcher’s again.
Now onto the David Watch for tonight. Yesterday 2/4 with 1 rbi.
Tonight- 2/4 with 1 rbi.

And as always, Vote WRIGHT FOR PRESIDENT AND VOTE DAVID TO THE NL ALL STAR TEAM!!
Mets Win…
As i am not in a good mood right now, as i had a whole page filled out with information about what i did today and it got deleted on my computer. Ah what are you going to do? I cant cry about it. But it seems all of the yankee fans who flood my site and leave me negative messages about how David is not a good player and all of that garbage,i just find it funny how the Yankee fans always tell me, David’s not a good player and he doesnt even compare to Derek Jeter. Actually he is a better player than Derek Jeter minus the championships. The only reason Derek is regarded as one of the top players is because of his leadership. In a few years,i will guareentee that David Will win a title and an MVP award and get elected to a ton of all star games.
As today’s game went by and i was watching i notcied a bunch of things. I wont get into all of them but i thought el duque pitched well and should have gave up a few less runs than he did. He gave ip one mistake and that was the Homer to hermeda. Other than the homer, he did well and could have even gave up 0. But As David’s hot steak continued, added another 2 hits and reached his personal best hit streak of 6 hits without recording an out. I understand the way the game is played today and i have been receiving alot of emails telling me that David plays the game well and knows what to do in the game we all love. I understand that and he does. He works his tail off day in and day out and will continue that tough work ethic until the day he walks off into the sunset.
As for tomorrow nights memorial night game. I will attending possibly after sitting in 9 hours of traffic and i will enjoy a mets victory. I believe the mets will win tomorrow and win 2 of 3 from the dbacks. I will post during and possbily after the game. I need a victory tomorrow night as the traffic will anger me and i need to calm down. if anyone goes to the game, just look for the guy in the helmet with the vote for wright pin taped on to his helmet LOL. take care everyone and enjoy your holiday in whatever way you choose.
Now onto the david watch. Today, 2-4 with an rbi. Hot streak has been and will continue on till Sept.
Tomorrow 2-5 with an rbi.
