Mets Rained out…
Today’s Mets- Phils rubber game was rained out and will be replayed tomorrow at 12:10 pm in a nice early afternoon baseball game. In New York as i am looking at some weather forecasts it is being projected as rain in the afternoon so hopefully they can get the game in and hopefully it can also be a mets victory. The Mets are looking to take 2 of three against the phils and push their lead to 15.5 games and bring their magic n umber even lower than their 20 as of right now.
I just wanted to also tell all of you wrightoholics to keep on voting on the left hand side and to keep voting the Wright way as David wrightoholics is leading Jeteroholics by a score of 101-7 in voting of what you would rather be, A wrightoholic or a Jeteroholic? So remember people to keep on voting and getting our man to 150 and keep Jeter under 10.
As for today i am becoming very nervous and hopefully i will be okay during my surgery and i dont want any of you to worry as i will be back wrighting on Wednesday maybe Thursday the earliest. Now onto to David Wright Foundation, I would just like to thank Casey Hahl on being generous unlike many other people who only care about themselves. She will be receiving 10 David Wirght Foundation wristbands for her generous donation to the foundation in which helps support MS and other great causes. If you would like to donate to the foundation which supports a great cause, Please email me at wrightoholics@aol.com and ill be happy to relay the information to you.
The David watch will be updated now as he is rested.
Next Game- 7-8 with 7 home runs. Hes rested, he should be good now.
Mets Win…In Style…
The Mets pulled all the tricks out of the bag tonight as they came from behind to mash the Phils 11-5 at Shea tonight. The mets were down 5-2 after Ryan Howard smashed yet another home run and is it me or is this guy becoming a real pain in the mets side well bascially a pain in every teams side. I project him to put up these kind of numbers every year and hopefully just not against the mets like this. I would love to see the phils not make the playoffs because this is the only team i am a tiny bit worried about with Utley, Howard . Other than the home run by Howard, The mets were crusing in this game and Oliver Perez much like Brian Bannister gave up most of his runs to Howard so i wouldnt call their performances as both bad the last few starts against the phils. The mets broke out the lumber tonight behind Carlos ( viva la puerto rico) Beltran who blasted his 37th home run of the season, a 2 run shot to right field similar to the one he hit when he walked off against the cards about 3 games back. Also Carlos ( Viva La Puerto Rico) Delgado also homered for the mets and Delgado has been on a tear as of late and mashed a oppopsite field 2 run homer to pull the mets to within one. The mets then proceeded to slap the phillies by scoring 7 in the bottom of the 7th to take a commanding 11-5 lead and that is how it would end at Shea tonight. Endy Chavez was the unsung hero of the game by going 4-4 and laying down a beauty of a bunt down the line to load the bases and then Delgado sac flyed they walked David to pitch to green who doubled in two and so on. Chavez is making a case to play alot more than Milledge in Left field until Cliff gets back but they need to give Endy some time even when cliff does return to action, Endy has been playing his tail out and he reminds me of Rudy from Notre Dame Fame way back in 1976.
David still struggled last night by going 0-4 yet again but he did score a run and his average is down to 294 and there was nothing he could do tonight. He grounded out his last at bat to J Roll at short and Rollins made a spectacular play to rob him of a single and Wright’s misery continued. Wright will still get his average above 300 trust me and its only a matter of time before he goes 4-4 and raises that average up to where it should be. So still mets fans do not worry as he will get adequit rest over the rest of the season and be fresh come playoff time, David will also look to star for the mets in the playoffs and look to bring the title back to the better side of town and thats queens ny. I think David will break out of this slump 1 game at a time and he will start either tomorrow ( barring a day off ) Or Tuesday against the Rockies in which baseball’s fly out of the stadium on a rapid pace. David looks to lead his mets with many MVP candidates (Beltran, Reyes) .
But as for tomorrow, I will look for the mets to win the rubber game of the 3 game set against the Phils and build that magic number even lower than the 20 it is at right now. I will deff be at every clinching mets game for the rest of the season regardless of it being home or away because i want to see first hand the mets be the first team in baseball to clinch their division well basically it will be the first team to clinch in middle of September and they can start resting everyone and giving them breaks to try and keep our stars fresh for the playoffs and ready to go when we host game 1 against whoever that unlucky team might be.
As for Alex Rodriguez, He struck out another 3 times this afternoon down in Angel land and brought his series average against the Halo’s to 0-10 with 7 k’s. I find it funny to see him struggle so much and get so angry at himself. All i can say is thank god we didnt get him. He might be one of the best players in baseball history but in clutchness, He ranks lower than Rey Ordonez at the plate. So heres to you arod with your ******** 0-10 with 7 k’s during this series.
Now onto to the David watch, David went 0-4 today with a walk and a run scored.
Last Game 0-4 with a walk and run scored.
Next Game 2-4 with a homer.

Mets Lose…But 13.5….ARod+Jeter= Sailing?
First off i want to tell people to keep voting on the left hand side poll, David is currently beating Derek 83-6 in results so far for the first week and a half. Yesterday night i was at the Jets game in which they faced off against David’s favirote team, The New York football giants. I kind of wished i was at the mets game and even throughout the whole night i kept checking my phone for mets scores and even after the score was 4-0 Phils i figured the Mets would come back and prove the naysayers wrong and beat the phils with a last inning at bat and i would miss a great game on a Friday night. The tickets did not go to waste as i donated them to Staten Island University Hospital’s Pediatric care unit and hopefully some child had fun at my seats watching the mets lose but hopefully they had fun at Shea and i wish them a speedy recovery nevertheless. As for the jets game quick, The Jets lost and it was a very sluggish game in which i spent alot of money on food and they could not even get to the giants red zone behind noodle arm Chad Pennington. Trust me the guy cant throw me a 30 yrd pass as he is very weak with his surgically repaired arm and hopefully he can bring the jets to a 500 record.
Now onto my love the Mets. The Mets lost 4-3 tonight and besides Carlos (Viva La Puerto Rico) Beltran, The mets were held silent and Mr Wright went 0-3 dropping his average to 297 for the first time in ages. David has been struglling all month and his average in August is 217. ill get to him later but for right now i just want to give a shout out to Bob Malandro down at steiner sports who hooked me up with a cool item and if you want a item or want to get a special item for your loved one, Give Bob a call at 1-888-769-mets and he will happy to assist you and be sure to tell him you are a friend of John’s at wrightoholics and he will hook you up with a descent price. Now back to tonight’s game, Brian Bannister pitched not so bad and will get anothet start as the mets sitll manage to hold a large lead and barring a bad and i mean a worser collapse than that Yankees holding a 3-0 lead in the 2004 ALCS before losing 4 straight debacle at the bronx the mets seem to be heading to the postseason for the first time since 2000 and we all know what happened then so i dont even want to go back. (My email box just got flooded with Yankee email’s) But this season is different guided by Viva La Puerto Rico, Carlos Beltran and his MVP Caliber season and his friend Carlos Delgado, Jose Reyes And David Wright and a cast of crew of 25 making their run possible to the world series.I am not worried about losing 4 of 5 to the phils because as the main idea states 13.5 and the mets are not getting any worse trust me. Winning numerous in a row at home means one thing, The mets are gearing up or postseson play and i hope they can keep the tempo up all the way until November in which we all pray they will bring back the title back to this side of Ny, the better side.
Now onto to David, for all of you people (Fake Mets fans) saying that David needs a break is a joke. David does need a day off dont get me wrong but to say that David needs to stop doing his off field stuff with his foundation and doing other things for children is a joke. David does his off field stuf on his own time and to actually hear people call wfan radio and say that David’s foundation is for causing this slump is a joke and i tryed to get through to tell them that David does this on his own time and with his own money he donates to charities as well (See 1.5 donated out of his contract to the met foundation). I know that David personally is a great guy and he does this for the kids (See 1st annual kids event on www.davidwrightoundation.com ) David recently held his first kids event on Monday and from what i have heard it was a great success and the children were very happy. I mean David held this event for the children who lost loved one’s on 9/11 so for you people saying Davids foundation is bringing him down should think again. These children are extremely happy and for those moments they spent with David is ones they will never forget and i am extremely appreciative for him to be a part of my favirote baseball team not only because of what he does on the field but for what he does off of it as well. He is truly an inspiration to me about being the same age and helping out with Children who are need. He is extremely talented and he is still making the great defensesive plays as he generally does throughout the season, All i think is that he needs to look at some more film and he will be fine on game day. So once again to all of you people who are calling and saying that David needs to bat 6th in the lineup need to get a grip and realize that he is a career 303 batter so he is right around there for now. Just please keep in mind that he is only 23 years of age and he sitll has not hit his prime yet so there is a tremendous upside to him and we should all let loose of this grip we have so tight to him that he must live up to 340 batting average expectations. And people who dont believe me about the people calling and complaining about Wright shoud listen to the radio more and it is annoying to real mets fans and even more annoying to people who know what David does with his off time.
Now onto the reason why i havent been blogging the past few days. The reason is because i am going in for surgery on Tuesday at 6:45 am and i have been going for pre-admissions testing the previous 3 days. I am very nervous and am praying that everything goes alright and praying that i will be back blogging on Wednesday night. I will be around all of the next two weeks because i will not be able to walk and ill be on the computer or tivo’ing alot of my favirtote shows on tv to watch over those two weeks. For those of you who read this daily , i just wanted to give you guys a big thank you because without you i would not be the egotistical person that i am, JK . But honestly keep me in your prayers and i hope i am okay come Wednesday. So drop me a line at wrightoholics@aol.com and wish me a speedy recovery or talk baseball.
Now onto to the David Wright Foundation, To donate please visit www.davidwrightfoundation.com to donate and remember i am donating 5 dollars per david wright home run and in the series finale vs the Cardinals i was praying that i would have to make my first 5 dollar donation but David came close and i hope he starts hitting them out daily so i can donate some money to a great cause and hopefully everyone who reads this can head down to the website or email me and ill give you all of the information on how to donate and remember all donations are tax-deductible. You can contact executive of the foundation Erica Barrone at Erica@davidwrightfoundation.com and she will be happy to answer any of your donation needs or you can email me for more information as well.
Now onto to the David watch sponsered by Alex Rodriguez and Derek Jeter holding hands sailing into the Caribbean.

As of August 23th, 2006 i am now declaring this day as the time in which i will start donating 5 dollars per David Wright home run to the his wonderful foundation. It is a great day to be a met fan and i believe David will start smacking the ball out in style in the upcoming weeks and i encourage all of you to email me and get in on this happening. I will write your name down and i expect you to donate 5 dollars for each David Wright home run in this season and post-season included. I dont care if its a meaningless home run, it still will be 5 dollars towards a great cause and that is to help the David Wright Foundation grow into something bigger and please people, Join in and help out. Its only 5 dollars for each home run he hits and you can cut down on the Wendy’s drive through window and get some white rice for the night and donate the 5 to the foundation. I am expecting David to hit some home run’s shortly and please people email me to get on.
I really hope everyone gets to jump on with me and donate some money to a good cause. For every person who email’s me and signs on to join this wonderful program, I will donate 25 cents extra per home run for each person i get to sign up for the program. So cmon, open up the wallets and donate 5 per home run. As a bonus for each person who signs up, I will give you David Wright Foundation wristbands after your first 5 dollar donation off of his home run.
So as i start my David Wright donation chart for homer’s, Just rmember, it all goes to a wonderful cause and i would expect many of the Wrightoholics to be on it.
Mets 8 Pujols 7….Delgado’s 400th Homer and Trade…
It was starting to look like the mets were going to be outslugged in every way imaginable by Mr Albert Pujols, The leading vote getter in my eyes to grab the NL MVP this season. Pujols connected on 2 home run’s one of them grand and drove in 7 rbi’s but he was outdone by another MVP candidate Carlos ( VIVA LA PUERTO RICO) Beltran. Beltran’s shot was crushed to right field and he completely turned on the ball and the Mets walked off into the night life and singing so happy together by the beatles was my tune on the way out. I was extremely happy of the fact that i finally had the chance to boo Braden (I cost the mets 9 games last season) Looper. Looper who i booed for about 7 minutes made me happy but not on to the more happy part, A mets victory of the Cardinals. The Mets pulled out the bats tonight to rip apart the Card’s bullpen and led by Carlos Delgado who clubbed his 400th career home run (A Grand Slam) to right field which i believe he will get that ball because it didn’t go into the stands but beyond the bull pen.
Speaking of Delgado, He launched that 3-1 pitch deep into the night and it was a very magical moment for mets fans to finally see a player hit his 400th home run and i was extremlely happy to see it in person. Delgado who is starting to break out of that slump he has been in all season and has clubbed numerous home run’s in the past 4 games. Delgado’s home run was more exciting because it completely put some more engery back into the Shea stadium crowd,Mainly because of Pujols’s 7 rbi 5 inning perfomance. But Delgado and Carlos x 2 with his fellow Puerto Rican Buddy Carlos Beltran powered the Mets offense on a night in which David struggled yet again. People i am still not worried about Wright’s perfomance, He will break out of it. He is 23 years of old and has slumped before just look at his first 20 games into the majors with a 260 average and finished at 290.
Now lets talk about Carlos # 2, Carlos Beltran. Beltran was 0-4 with 4 groundout’s tonight before he slugged his 2 run walk off home run off of former Generation K member Jason Isringhausen. Beltran is just proving with his excellent gold glove defense and his powerful bat he is finally starting to justify his 117 million dollar contract in which he signed 2 years ago. I was very angry with the way Beltran played last season and he is now back to his form of hitting his average and hitting some home run’s. Beltran just showed how this mets team is never down and out and they showed the Cardinals who the best team in the NL is and they go by the name of Mets. The Mets who are still 14 games ahead of the Phils for second, Are looking towards a 10th straight consecutive home win tomorrow.
The 9th grand slam the mets have hit this season is now a franchise record. Carlos Delgado Belted his 400th career home run. Also, I purchased 9 soda’s at a pricey 5.75 each. Got to love my vast assortment of mets cups in my room. Besides spending 300 dollars at the game, I was looking around in the 7th inning and a big press realease came across the shea stadium scoreboard, The mets have traded for Shawn Green. Green looks like he wil be the every day starter in Right field and push Endy out of the lineup once Cliff comes back into the fold. I am a little negative on Green but it seems he will help out alot and he can hit for average and hit righties and lefties both equally well. So the mets get also 6.3 million from the dbacks to pay some of his salary and hopefully Green can continue to produce out of the 6 spot behind Wright. The Mets traded prospect Evan Mcclane to the Dbacks and i believe one day he will prosper at the major league level. So heres to you Shawn Green and Carlos Delgado and Carlos Beltran, i love you all.
As for David Wright, He will look to start hitting again tomorrow against Mark (OH MY GOD, PLEASE DONT LET ME BE THE PITCHER TO FACE DAVID WRIGHT WHEN HE GETS HOT) Mulder. David will look to pounce on some early pitches against Mulder tomorrow .
As for me, i am heading down to a children’s hospital in Staten Island in which i am donating some left over toys from the David Wright Foundation’s kids event. David is working tremendously hard to donate his time into helping other’s so people please try and donate. To donate go to www.davidwrightfoundation.com . It all goes to a great cause and tomorrow i am donating my tickets to a great cause and i bleive we should all do the same.
Now onto to the David watch, sponsered by Turn TWO, Derek’s awesome "cologne" in which he sells with such grace and sex appeal.

Mets Slap Rockies….
The Mets bats slowly woke up last night from the previous series against the Phils. Everyone remembers that series in which the mets were slapped around in the first three games of that series. But they took the last game vs the Phils and came into Yesterday’s game with a burden on their shoulder’s and that burden was to try and start hitting again. The Mets bat’s were held in check the first few innings but came alive with our man David Wright at the plate. Wright, who has been struggling mightily as of late came in hitting 304 for the first time in ages. Wright then proceeded to prove to all of the Yankee fans and Mets hater’s that David is still on top of his game and everyone struggles in their career’s numerous times so people dont boo the guy ever or get down on him he is not a robot, Hes human like all of us. Now, David then doubled down the line scoring a run and giving the mets the brief 1-0 lead. The Rockies then grabbed the lead and scored their 3rd run on a single up the middle by Byung hyun Kim, The rockies ace. How sad is that they lead the NL in era for starters with this staff of number 4 starters? Well as i was a little frustated with the fact that Kim singled to center i still knew that the Mets would fight back to victory because there is no way that i am losing 5 straight games while i have been attending games. I promised myself if the mets lost last night, I would relinquish my tickets and donate them to the Wright foundation. But luckilly the mets pulled it out behind the power of Endy Chavez to right field on his blast of a home run. Chavez came up and connected on a 2-1 pitch and crushed it about 500 feet (Well it felt like that). That gave the mets a 4-3 lead. Then David came up and added yet another run on a single to left and i was just off the mark in which i set last night in the David watch as David went 2-4 but i predicted a home run although i would take the single, double 2 rbi’s. The Mets then rolled to victory with some nice pitching behind 12-5 Steve Trachsel. Now for as much as we get on Steve for being a bad pitcher and a good # 5 starter the mets are 13-1 in his last 14 starts so i would have to give him the nod in the playoffs over Maine, El Duque. Traschel has been the stopper in this season as he has come up with many big victories including one against the yanks.
As for David and tonight’s 86th celebration night. The celebration takes place at 7.00 pm eastern time at Shea in which the 20th anniversary of the last real world champion in NY. David will look to give some proof to the team that won last time for the mets that he will bring them to the promised land by giving a strong effort tonight against the Rockies and their ace, Jeff Francis, a former # 1 pick in the draft. The 86th celebration is special for me because i used to love Darryl Strawberry growing up and i remember al be it i was 2 years of age back then and didnt know much, I stil lremember my Father bringing me to my first game even though i was two that year. I still have the doll he bought me in Shea in my room. Ah the memories of that season are not fresh in my mind but when i pop in the 86 collection dvd’s i get so happy and excited just to remember when the Mets owned the town and the Yanks were slip and sliding down the standings to the AL cellar. Now im just praying that this year’s team can be like the 86 team without the drugs trashing hotel rooms and arrests. The mets will look to honor them in special ways as they hope to deliver a victory tonight. The Mets lead grew even bigger last night as the Phils lost to the Nat’s and the lead is back up to 13 games again. So for all of you mets fan’s who flood my email box with asking me about if the Mets will come back and win the division. People, a 11 game lead at the time is big enough i am pretty sure that any team in the league would love to have a double digit lead so i believe its pretty safe to say the Mets will head to the post season.
Now David last night showed he might be breaking out of the minor slump he has been in by going 2-4 with 2 stung balls to left. And as i sit here watchign the Yankees beat the red sox yet again, I wonder to myself how much is too much payroll. This team is over 250 million and its honestly going to get out of hand to see team’s pay this much for a team to win and not win consistently. They have spent over 1 billion dollars the past 5 years not to win but i guess its good to have the worlds biggest collapse in the history of sports to your credit to add to the 26 world series championships you currently have. I find it quite funny that is every yankee fan’s reply to me about my team. Here is the conversation.
Me- Hey , My team is on fire now. Won 8 straight on the road.
Yankee fan- Well we are the 26 time world series title champion of the world.
Me- Do you guys live in the past? What about that collapse vs the Sox 2 years back?
Yankee Fan- Hey, Ill take losing 4 straight games to our rival and watching them win the world series just to have 26 world championship’s .
Me- are you aware that you guys have been playing for over 100 years?
Yankee fan- Yeah so..26 is alot.
Me- Did you ever hear of David Wright?
Yankee Fan- Who? Oh you mean the guy who wears pastel’s.
Me– No i mean the all star third basemen in NY, The one who is plastering his name all over pitcher’s mind’s across baseball and strikes fear into pitcher’s hearts.
Yankee Fan- O you mean Arod Or Derek Jeter right under theyre different alias’s.
Me- No i actually am not talking about E-rod or the guy who sells cologne to other men in the world.
Theyre you have it, that is a actual conversation i have with yankee fans . It is pretty funny to see they still get on David when i dont even say one thing about A-rod. Okay maybe i do, But who cares your third basemen makes so much money that it is enough to make fun of alone. But now onto to the David watch and as usual, David for MVP and David For President!
Yesterday 2-4 with double,single 2 rbi’s. (88)
Tonight – 2-4 with a home run

Mets Avoid sweep….
Hello all, Sorry about the non-blogging the past few days. I have been real busy trying to ensure more donations for the David Wright Foundation. Speaking of the foundation, their first annual kid’s event is coming up during the next week and it is looking to be an exciting one. People, keep in mind David does this to better other’s positions in life and i believe we should as well and to donate, Please give Erica Barrone a call at 646-678-3750 and she will let you know all of the particulars in donations. I also recieved about 300 David Wright Foundation colored wristbands for all of you Wrightoholics to go and show your David Wright Foundation pride and to spread the word about his wonderful cause, I will also add in 1 david Wright rookie card for each wristband you recieve. To get a wristband or two or three, Email me at Wrightoholics@aol.com and ill let you know all of the particulars into getting one. Colors Orange, Blue,White are available.
As for the mets previous few games, I was very happy that they won and did not get swept against the Phils. Losing 3 of 4 still has the Mets with a 12 game lead and it will become even a larger lead once again when all of the mets get back on track. David has been swigning a little un-David like the past few games but everyone in the world has bad games trust me. I even had bad games when i was in little league going through a 1-29 slump but i bounced back and look at me i hit 560 in softball lol. But i believe this is nothing that David is going through, I call in a slight week slump. He will get back on track tonight back at home with some home cooking against the Byung Kim of the Rockies. Kim, Who has a submarine delivery will look to fool the mets with his pitching stance but the Mets who will look to pounce on him early and give the mets a nice cushion to build on and look to get to the suspect bullpen of the rockies. As for the mets hitting, i believe it will come back tonight as they will beat the rockies with the bat and with the pitching too.
Now onto to the ever so special David watch, Sponsered by Derek Jeter and Arod hanging out in the salon selling his perfume.
Yesterday 0-4 with 3 k’s
Tonight – 2-4 with a home run.

Mets Lose…Bad.
Well Phils fans dont get too happy about beating us 13-0 yesterday. You should have beaten us 14-0 just to show how far back you guys still are. Just remember as the season went on so did the beatings the mets gave other teams so im not too worried about losing 13-0 in a game that the mets were flat in every aspect of the game. See all of us Wrightoholics can go on vacation for 1 month and still come back and notice that we are crushing you in the division standings. As i plan my trip to the playoffs in some other town in which i will be bringing the Wrightoholics flag with me, I wonder if you guy’s will be there. I really do hope you make the playoffs, win in the first round and play us. We will make you wish you never beat us 13-0. Well rather not 13-0 because i think the mets frankly do not care about getting beat that bad. They will come back either tonight or tomorrow with a strong effort and just show they had 1 bad day out of weeks. Remember, we have a 8 game lead over the NL for best record and we have been winning a lot of ball games as of late. We are the best team for a reason and that is by winning close games, blowouts, Pitching better than the other team and i believe that the mets will come back tonight and show the Phils why we are 14 games ahead of them. I mean if i was driving a david Wright range rover, the Phillies would not even be in the rear view mirror they would be about 2 miles back of him. Its just a joke that the New York print and tv are making it seem like we just lost the world series to the yankees. I mean cmon, 14 game lead, 1 loss. WOW, Im going to cry now. LOL. I am still as happy as i have been all year and my confidence rating for the mets is still a 10 of 10 regardless of what effect Pedro’s injury has to the team. The Mets should just rest Pedro for weeks. Bring him back for two tuneup starts in the middle of Septemember and let him pitch 6 innings just to have him fresh for the postseason. Now onto another disturbing thing i have been reading about.
Speaking of disturbing, Poor Paul Loduca, I am so tired of the New York Post ripping on him and dedicating daily front page ad’s to him. Leave the guy alone already. He is performing on the field like usual and his off the field business should be his own and no one elses. I mean i am going to go down the ny post and see if someone is having a supposed affair, i mean the guy does nothing but greatness for this city and team and this whole thing is overshadowing our team. Lo Duca, Who came from the Marlins to the mets is happy here but im starting to think that he wont want to play here anymore due to this terrible media in which we have. The front page of the post reads Double play,Loduca’s second teen lover works in bet parlor. I am now getting very aggitated with the way the ny post has handled this situation and am now boycotting the NY post, i hope everyone can join in on the boycott for getting on Lo Duca this much. Wow, i wondered how much of **** can go dig for some matirial for reader’s to read and the Post has gone above and beyond of my classicfication of **** . Lo Duca should never talk to reporters again after this backstabbing. I wonder if Lo Duca can even work out his problems at home now after the paper just has blasted Lo Duca and dragged him under a bus daily. HERES TO YOU,NY POST- A BIG MIDDLE FINGER RAISES.
Now onto the David Watch, sponsered by turn two, Derek Jeter’s perfume for men, weird aint it? DONT FORGET TO VOTE ON THE NEW POLL ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE.
David has been struggling as of late and will look to get back to normalcy tonight against Randy "O my god, Please dont let David face me" Wolf.
Tonitght 2-4 with a home run

Mets breeze through D.C….
The Mets won 2 of three from the Washington Nationals even though it was not easy. The mets struggled mightily to score run’s in which they usally dont have problems with. They proved though that they can beat the bad teams in the division and that is evidenced by their 15 game lead in the NL east. The mets can breeze through the rest of the season and can even start me in Right field and still have a division title banner to raise come next April. But as for right now, The mets need to work some sort of tandom out in Right field or Left until Cliffy comes back to action. I like what Michael Tucker has brought to the team the past few games, He made a nice defensive play in his first game, Homered today. Also i am not too involved with Ledee, I think since he was a yankee, He doesnt belong here and he has not done much since coming here.
The Mets will look to extend their already wide lead in the Nl east up to triple digits, No im just kidding but soon near the 20 mark hopefully. They head to Phili to take on the Phils in a 4 game set in which im looking for 3 of 4 vs them. They return to the scene of the crime in which when David Wright made a ridiculous double play to keep the sweep alive and well and Billy Wagner owes him a rolex at the end of the season for that, Well make it two rolexes after David has saved him twice. Now i will talk about today’s game with the Nat’s.
The Nats and Mets were locked in a pitchers duel throughout the afternoon at RFK. Steve Trachsel only gave up 1 run and it was a costly one, A home run to Alfonso Soriano in which gave the Nats the brief lead. An error lead to the mets first run and there after, the Mets took total control and took the series by winning 3-1 extending their lead to 15 full games. I was very happy about a few things in todays game, 1- Mets hustled all afternoon unlike the Nationals player Alfonso Soriano who didnt hustle out the box which almost cost them the game. Also im very happy that this team is not very lazy like the Nationals in which many plays were half played to a tee. Error’s helped the mets win today but hey it happens to everyone and the Mets are just smoking hot right now.
As for David, He went 1-4 today with a stolen base. Also David beat out a double play attemp which set up their first run of the game. David , Unlike Soriano hustled all the way down the line and just showed why we all love him and the way he plays the game. He plays it with sheer heart and determination and i believe there is not one player in baseball who can match his competivieness and heart. He arrives early and leaves late. He signs auto’s for fans, It is just a sheer treat to watch this kid grow into all of our hearts and make us believe on his shoulders, we can make it. See, the thing is with the other third basemen in NY, Hes too busy smelling Jeter’s perfume and trying to sail on Jeter’s boat. He should just try to play the game right. But our third basemen is for real and we all love watching him play the game right or as i should say Wright. David will continue to do the little things in the game that makes us win and he not only gives us some help when he is down in other ways while he is slumping but contributes off the field as well with his charity, The David Wright Foundation. He has a kid’s event coming up and to donate to the charity, Please visit www.davidwrightfoundation.com to donate.
As for the David Watch, sponsered by turn two, Derek Jeter’s perfume for men, Sounds weird.
Today 1-4 with his 15th stolen base.
Tomorrow- returns to the scene of the crime in which he robbed Pat Burrell of a double down the line and saved the sweep for the mets against the Phils.
4-4 with 4 home runs, Hey Ya gotta believe.
