Wright Crushes game tying two run homer...More Foundation News!

       David Wright came up to the plate in Japan down 2 runs with a man on and 2 outs. David who consistenly came up clutch throughout the regular season and besides the one bad series he had was a great player and gave us mets fans something to look forward to next season and we look towards a second straight NL east championship and hopefully bigger and better things as our Mets will try to pull off something we were o so close to this season, A Championship.  David who is having a blast in Japan and slapped a blast to Left centerfield to to give the MLB all stars a well derseved come back win against the Japan team who won the world baseball classic while the US team miserbaly did not even finish in the medal round. Even though this game was a exhibition, David shined as he has done all season and it will continue all the way through to 2007's spring training, Opening day, Hopefully the world series for the mets.

     Some foundation news. The David Wright Foundation is looking for more people to buy tickets to the gala. The Gala, which will take place in the breathtaking hard rock cafe in times square will be a night to remember and hopefully all or some of my daily readers can attend. I usually  dont write in the offseason but i will post weekly regarding the mets offseason moves but im begging people to go down and see the David Wright Foundation website and donate a penny, quarter, dollar, anything. If we have enough people donate it really can go a long way and i would , along with all of the suffering from MS will benefit from our small funds, So people please have a heart and donate through  the website. They now have up a pay site in which you can  all donate straight through to the foundation which is alot easier than sending a envolope so get off your butts and do something good and donate to our favirote player in baseball because he and the others who work at the foundation bust their backs to try and help others and without them, Most people in the hospital have no where else to turn so please give them something to be happy about for a change and know that your money is going to a amazing cause and you can also attend a memorable night.
