Mets so close...So close....

Haaaa_1_2 Hmm...Can anyone smell how close baseball season and the mets drive towards a title is away? Almost 1 month and i can get off the medication  in which i have been taking to calm myself over the last game in which the mets were in.  Its been a while, many sleepless nights, many many sleepless nights thinking of that piece of **** Yadier...Ah forget it, I wont vent my frustrations now as im in a good mood. I have been going around searching  for new pictures and i generally come across alot but this one made me smile. Just thinking about how the mets are once  again taking the heart of the city back, I can feel it. There is alot of turmoil going  around on the other team in NY'S left side of the infield and our infield is so happy together, It brings back memories or Rey Ordonez and Edgardo alfonzo and Olerud  And Robin (Vacuum) Ventura,  Wow i think back after looking at the best infield ever;s stats and think the mets were so much fun to watch back then but now, This can be  the most exciting team in the mets history( Regardless of their pitching). I know  the mets  pitching  is not amazing  and is  very old but i think that the mets young guns will shoulder  the load until Pedro dominicano comes back to full form in July or August. Just think about this people, We have the best left side of the infield in baseball (Yes even over the yankees).

Another funny story in which i had the other day with a yankee fan. Heres the convo.

ME: Hey, You guys ready for another year?

Yankee fan: Yeah, We are ready for another soon to be title, what is that number 80 in the career?

ME: 80 Huh? Wow you guys are cocky for a team that builds around a payroll of 200 mill a year

Yankee fan: Yeah whatever, We are taking it all the way this year, We should have last year  but it will only make us stronger this year

ME: Dont you know that your left side of the infield sleeps with each other? Literally, they have  sleepovers 4 or 5 times a night with no women, Isnt that kind of weird?

Yankee Fan: No thats not weird, Thats perfectly fine with me, I have  sleepovers  with my friends still.

Me: How old are you?

Yankee fan: 43.

Me: I see. But when you  think about it, Dont you want to see an exciting team who plays with heart not worrying about the size  of their wallets?

Yankee fan:  No, Im  all about the wins and we had alot over the years.

Me: All i can  say is that its a new season, One in which i predict right now that  the Mets will win the division again, and the Yankees will lose to the sox by 6 games.

Yankee fan: Yeah okay,  I think someone needs to get off the drugs.

Me: Correct on that part , But thats stricly medical drugs i was  given to pass the time from that  painful loss from the ...Ur, i wont even say it.

Yankee Fan: Yeah thats right. The Cardinals.

Me: Yeah i know,It was the toughest  loss in my life but nothing  compares to that beating you guys  took from the Sox in 2004 after holding  a 3-0  lead,  I just thought id remind you of that loss. The  biggest collapse in the history of the Yankees and  baseball and any sports history, It doesnt get much worse than  that.

Yankee fan: You got me there.

Me: Mets are going to the world series and  this year winning it. Just remember, the sox went to the alcs in  2003 against the yankees and lost  in  a heartbreaker  7  game series. The mets lost  in a heartbreaker to the cards  in 7 games. The next season the sox won  it all by outlasting the yankees  and beating the Cards. This year the mets will do what the Sox did and win a title.
