Im almost back...

Hey everyone. I just wanted to give a quick update about why i have not been posting at all as of late. I have been extremely busy in the last 2 weeks with college and its almost over in 2 weeks and then i will get back to writing on a regular basis. In the past week, The mets have won a few and lost a few and most recently lost to the Rockies. That game was suree ugly as Pelfrey got hammered and his fastball is like mine but 40 mph stronger and it just doesnt move off the plate, Its like Pelfreys fast ball had gravitational pull towards the hitters sweet spots during the game. I really hope that he can get it together and give the mets a solid outing so that they wont have to bring up Chan Ho Park, although Park is pitching good in AAA. Now onto another great thing i have noticed in the past week. The Yankees.

What is going on with the Yankees ? Its like all of them are about to mail in the season already 20 games in. The phone number for all of the yankee fans is *************. For all of you having suicide thoughts over the past losing streak of the Yankees. I mean cmon, Even i have a soft spot for their fans, Losing 6 in a row is bad and facing the Sox is worse this weekend when that 5 and a half game lead can get much worse and push the yanks back even more than they are. I wonder when the blank check will be handed to Roger (Mike Piazza owns me) Clemens. I really wanted to see Clemens come back and just get hammered like he did in some of his starts against the mets. Its just like thinking about the way the mets used to start off and then the Yankee fans consistently abuse me about us always being in last place and not winning so right now, I see the mets with the best record in the NL and leading the NL East yet again so i guess they cant say a word now. Arod is on fire with his bat but the rest of the team did not catch on. I was listening to the fan the other day and some yankee fan called in and wanted to mail in the season 19 games into it. I find that hard to believe as the yankees have had some bad starts and always finish good. After all of that Yankee talk, Im moving on to the best player in our mind, David Wright.

David Wright. Ah, the slump ends but the home run drought continues. I feel as if with his strong plate dicipline and strong work ethic, He will bounce back and hit home runs to all parts of the field and its just a matter of time before he goes back to his home run ways but who cares because he is still hitting now and leading the mets (Most of the others are doing work as well) to alot of victories defensively and offensively. I just wish he would hit a home run this weekend so he can shut up all of those yankee fans saying AROD 14- DAVID 0. Well heres another thing for all of you Yankee fans to read. Mets 13. Yankees 8-. Just look at the standings. There is no I in team but there is a ME and that is what David is not about. He is about team work and he is about winning and if there was more players like him, Then baseball would have alot more class acts out there. With all of this football talk about Adam "Pacman" Jones, It gets me laughing about when they can try and point to baseball. The one role model they have is David Wright. He is truly one of the best players in all of the land on and even off the field. For more information about his foundation which all the proceeds go to an amazing cause, Please visit www.davidwrightfoundation.com . He is truly an asset to baseball and will continue that for the rest of his hopefully long career (Knock on wood). Now on to the David watch, Im expecting big things from David this weekend against the Nats.
