DAVID ES EN FUEGGOOOOOO

   David Wright like i said before will win the batting title this year. He will not even record an out at bat for the rest of the season and almost finish with a 550 batting average. In all seriousness, He is on fire now, As getting a hit in the first three at bats in todays game just proves that he was tired out from all of the females marriage requests in April and since then has 26 home runs. He is up to 321 on the season and will look to add to that vs this miserable Reds pitching staff other than todays starter, Aaron Harang. Not to be outshadowed by Pedros first start of the season, Mr Wright has been mashing the ball to all fields (Yesterday-Centerfield bomb, Today- Right field Yankee Stadium barely making it over the wall) and his base hits are all finding holes and the mets are looking to push their lead wider in the NL East to 5 games today as they are now battling the Reds and their lackluster team.

    After this weeks horrid start to the weekend, I didnt want to post as i had my head halfway in the tub filled with water due to enough horrible games to endure especially with going to Pennsylvania and enduring more Phils fans than ever abusing me and asking me if i can purchase a broom to sweep myself along with that junk David Wright Jersey i was wearing. I laughed and shrugged it off asking them where they will be in the end of September with that horrible pitching staff and they said first. I went back before i headed back to NY and they were closed for the rest of the week after the Marlins slapped them around in FLA. So i left a note. Dear Owners of the food mart, I really like to thank you for making fun of me. Now i can bask in the glory and regain that 4 game lead that we had and it will be pushed back to 6 by weeks end. I hope you can think of me while fishing in October. I will be partying all winter long and i will come back with my 3 foot David Wright Bobblehead and maybe we can share stories of what it will be like to win a world series this season. Go Philles and go Kyle Durbin (Your # 1 starter).

    Now back to todays game and the lack of posting. I was waiting for the mets to win a game vs the Phils to post but i needed to see if the Mets would sweep the Bravos before finally posting again. The Mets swept the Bravos out of their own stadium and partied all the way back to Cincinati and will look to continue that mashing on the hapless reds. The way the Mets beat the Braves made me happy and made me smile for the first time in 5 days. As i was sleeping, I had a dream that David Wright will win the MVP this season and for those of you who have voted on the left side of the website, Thanks for voting MVP this season as i have been all season long and i think he will win it.  Now lets get back to....

   I really do think that he should get more consideration for MVP. He is a leader on this team and after a slow April start, He is off to monster numbers and i can only wish he gets to 110 RBI'S. He will win the MVP. He is a Perenial MVP in the making for baseball and look at him off the field. He is a role model and his foundation raises numerous amounts of money for the society. In a world in which you see so much garbage going on with athletes, Its nice to see David come out and do what he does on a weekly basis. I just pray the Mets can sign him to a 300 year contract so i can die in peace.

   Pedros start today was great in my mind. Giving up 2 earned in 5 innings after a year off is a major step for Pedro and a major step for the Mets in having another good arm step out every 5th or 6th day is great. I just hope he can stay healthy and gradually take baby steps to get back to a shred of the old Pedro.
